Here at Alunday Bull Terriers we believe that sound bitches are extremely important to our breeding program. Bitches used in our breeding program have tested clear of the 5 known hereditary diseases (Patella Luxation, Hereditary Heart Disease, Kidney Nephritis, Polycystic Kidney Disease, Hereditary Deafness).

Temperament is a key factor in selecting bitches along with virtues that are characteristic to Bull Terriers. We aim to breed puppies that are winners in the show ring and companions on the couch.

We study our bitches and assess their virtues and faults with great consideration. Our bitches are bred to dogs that carry virtues we hope will be produced in the offspring.

Breeding quality pups requires using the best available stud dogs, this is not always the winning dog, but the dog offering the most desirable virtues that compliment the bitch.

We never use dogs for convenience because they live in our kennel, if the best dog for a bitch is located interstate that is the dog we will use. It dose cost money to breed quality Bull Terriers, it also costs a lot of money to raise them correctly so they are healthy.
